In this book Jon Kabbat-Zinn provides access to the essence of meditation and its application for both the beginner and those who wish to deepen and expand their practice.

This book has established itself as an excellent beginner’s guide to the practice of meditation. It is an ideal book to read after you have attended an MCT course.

The Luck Factor - Richard Wiseman ISBN 0-7126-2388-4
Change your luck – and change your life. The author looks at the thinking skills that ‘lucky’ people use to create their lives – these are very similar to the Steps concepts. Each chapter has a really good summary. The seminar in March was based on this book.
Did You Spot the Gorilla - Richard Wiseman ISBN 0-09-946643-0
This is another book by Wiseman which explores the importance of perception in our gathering of information. Again he summarises the chapters well and it is only 106 pages long.
What to Say When You Talk to Yourself - Shad Helmstetter 0-7225-2511-7.
A brilliant book if you want to look further in to the area of how you can help yourself by changing your self-talk.
